MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN, RAOWA
Dear Esteemed Brother Officers,
Assalamu Alaikum.
Subject: Update on Resolution of Deprived Officers Issue
As the Chairman of RAOWA, I humbly urge you to remain patient for a little longer regarding the long-awaited disposals and justice that you so rightly deserve. I deeply acknowledge your concerns and frustrations, and it is my sincere commitment to keep you informed at every step.
I am pleased to inform you that the Honourable Chief of Army Staff (CAS) has already approved and positively endorsed the applications of 151 officers. These applications carry the following key recommendations:
• Promotion granted to 47 officers in recognition of their rightful career progression.
• Undue dismissals converted to Premature or Voluntary Retirement for 45 officers, thus restoring dignity and benefits.
• Premature/Service Limit Retirements Reclassified as Normal Retirement for 28 officers, ensuring full retirement entitlements.
• Voluntary or Premature Retirements Revised to Premature or Service Limit Retirement for 5 officers, reflecting fair and reasonable terms.
• Officers Affected by Migration Policy, who were previously dismissed or retired voluntarily, have now been granted Normal Retirement, benefiting 26 officers and restoring their full dignity.
These recommendations were intended to be executed before Eid-ul-Fitr. However, due to unforeseen administrative delays, the implementation could not take place in time.
I have been assured from Army Headquarters (AHQ), Naval Headquarters (NHQ) Air Headquarters, and the Chief Adviser’s Office that the implementation of these approvals will take place as early as possible — hopefully within the next one month.
I fully understand the emotional toll and hardship this prolonged delay has caused to you and your families. Please rest assured that RAOWA is tirelessly working with the concerned authorities to ensure timely and rightful execution of all decisions — with your honour, dignity, and status fully restored.
May Almighty Allah guide us, strengthen our unity, and bless us all in our pursuit of justice.
Warmest regards,
Chairman
RAOWA
